
Dr. Meysam Sarshar is an Associate Professor of Clinical Microbiology at Link Campus University of Rome and a Principal Investigator at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital (IRCCS), Italy. He also serves as Chairperson and International Relations Manager at ecoZist Corp. since 2023. With a Ph.D. in Infectious Diseases, Microbiology, and Public Health from Sapienza University of Rome, his research spans microRNAs in host–pathogen communication, biomarkers for pediatric diseases, nanotechnology, and organoid-based models.
He has held postdoctoral and visiting scientist positions in Italy and Iran, contributing significantly to projects on uropathogenic E. coli, gut microbiota, and infectious disease mechanisms. Dr. Sarshar has authored dozens of peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and patents, and he actively serves on editorial and reviewer boards of international journals.
Recipient of multiple research grants and scientific awards, he has extensive experience in molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture, and bioinformatics. His international collaborations focus on advancing antimicrobial resistance studies, organoid technology, and translational microbiology for human health.
